REGARDLESS, i have built a room behind said door, which is home to The Pirate Skeleton (the one who talks through the door in the original Lego Island game), along with various barrels containing gold, diamond, emerald, & other treasure.) Turns out, there was never anything behind that door. *Minecart track is not seen in the above upload pictures or video, as it was added after i uploaded the pics.)Īnyone that remembers Lego Island will remember the frustration of not being able to enter through the door in the secret cave. (shoutout to Skylah my niece for the minecart track idea!)

I also added a minecart track that follows the path of the racetrack, which definitely makes the map a lot more fun! I basically just made a smaller version of the racetrack.) (eg the correct colors, and i added some of the obstacles that you encounter in the race. That being said, i DID make it as accurate as i could, using the space i had. I even went to the effort of building the racetrack, BUT this part of the map is the only area that isn't fully accurate to the original game, because i had to build the entire racetrack inside the relatively small cave area. Why not eh? (eg the Super Store, the Bank, & one of the residential homes.)

It includes all the interiors seen on the game, aswell as some extra interiors that i decided to add as extras, as i just wanted to use the empty space inside those buildings. I spent a lot of time playing the game, and watching videos of the game, to make sure i made it as close to the real game as possible! This was the first game i played as a child, and ever since i've been playing Minecraft on creative mode, i've wanted to recreate an accurate version of this map. Take a trip back to 1997, when Mindscape released iconic the sandbox PC game ' Lego Island'.
